The clock did not set itself right away. The projection feature is okay but the numbers are small compared to my Emerson clock. I own an Emerson atomic projection clock and as soon as you plug it in it sets itself. So I was disappointed in that feature. The two things I like about the Oregon Scientific Clock are the temperaturereading and that it is small enough to use as a travel clock. If I had to do it again, I would probably order only one instead of the three I ordered for Christmas gifts.
if it's so great, why 4 stars. projects the time. we love it. where the time is projected cannot be repositioned.i wish the thing would allow you to point the time projection anywhere. no need to focus - no matter how far away the projection surface is, the numbers are clear. so. then it would be totally amazing. there are probably good reasons this is not possible, but.
I purchased this projection clock for my husband. The projection part has an AC ADAPTOR, but otherwise only runs on batteries, which is great when the power goes out because you still know the time. My husband loves this clock, the projection is very large and readable (at night only) has many features for a small clock. Works great for us---would buy again.
If you are looking for a projection clock -- this is a really good one. You can really see the time clearly on the ceiling -- even in semi-dark rooms. I LOVE THIS CLOCK. Also, great service from the seller. I had a different clock and you could barely see the numbers on the ceiling even in pitch black. Not the case with this clock. Received earlier than anticipated and in great condition. Thanks.
It's a great little clock. I don't think I can go back to a regular clock now. The time projects clearly on the ceiling and I even have a popcorn textured ceiling.
